Quick Reference Guide

Viewing a Roster

To select a specific class/section:

  1. Login to REGIS with NetId/Password
  2. Go to 'View Rosters' Tab
  3. Use 'Quick Search' folder
  4. Select Semester
  5. Enter Unit, Subject, Course (Section optional)
  6. Click Retrieve Roster

To drill down to a class/section:

  1. Login to REGIS with NetId/Password
  2. Go to 'View Rosters' Tab
  3. Use 'Drill Down' folder
  4. Select Semester
  5. Select Unit
  6. Select Subject
  7. Select Course
  8. Select Section
  9. Click Retrieve Roster

Notes:

Adding Students to a Roster

  1. Retrieve Roster (See View Roster section)
  2. Under 'Add Student to Section'
  3. Enter RUID, Last Name, First Name
  4. a) During warning or grading period enter warning from list of
         Valid Warnings or grade from list of Valid Grades

  5. Click Submit Section

Download and Upload a Roster

  1. Retrieve Roster (See View Roster section)
  2. To Download a Roster - Select the 'Excel Spreadsheet(xls)' link
  3. Select the save option after clicking the download link'
  4. Open the Excel file which you just downloaded and enter the grades and comments
  5. After finalizing the grade entry in the excel file, select 'File' option 'Save As'CSV (Comma Delimited)
  6. Select the Upload Course tab
  7. Enter the roster information (Semester, Unit, Subject, Course #, Section)
  8. Next indicate the file to be uploaded (CSV file type)

Submit warnings or grades for a Roster

  1. Retrieve Roster (See View Roster section)
  2. For each student, enter warning from list of Valid Warnings or grade from list of Valid Grades
  3. Enter Comment (optional)
  4. Click Submit Section to save

Revoking Privileges

  1. Login to REGIS with NetId/Password
  2. Go to 'Grant/Revoke Privileges' tab
  3. Enter NetId or Last Name/First Name of the person to whom access will be revoked
  4. Hit Search and select the person to whom access will be granted
  5. Once a single faculty member is displayed, select privileges to be revoked
  6. Click Revoke Privileges

Granting Access Privileges

  1. Login to REGIS with NetId/Password
  2. Go to 'Grant/Revoke Privileges' tab
  3. Enter NetId or Last Name/First Name of the person to whom access will be granted
  4. Hit Search and select the person to whom access will be granted
  5. Once a single faculty member is displayed, select semester and enter year
  6. Enter Unit
  7. Enter Subject, Course, Section and Supplement Codes (blank fields represents 'ALL' possibilities within a category. eg., course)
  8. Select Role
  9. Click Grant Access Privileges
